Bike Week 2026 – School Events

As part of Bike Week 2026, Presentation College Athenry will run a series of school‑based cycling and active travel events aimed at building confidence, skills and awareness around cycling and road safety.
Activities include:
A Cycle Bus to School involving students, parents and staff
Bike mechanic and maintenance sessions for students and parents
Skill‑based cycling sessions focusing on balance, control and confidence
Girls‑only cycling initiatives to encourage participation and confidence
Road safety talks for students
A fun, inclusive Schoolathlon combining cycling and other activities

Bike Week is funded by the Department of Transport, coordinated by TFI and brought to you by the Local Authorities and Sport Partnerships.
