Tea, Tales & Tyres – A High Nelly Heritage Gathering
A fun and social heritage event celebrating Clough’s cycling history and the former High Nelly Bicycle Club. The event will take place at High Nelly Cottage / Clough Parish Hall and will include a display of vintage High Nelly bicycles, photographs and memorabilia. Former club members and local residents will be invited to share stories and memories of cycling in years gone by, using Laois County Council’s “Bosca Beo” prompt cards to take a journey down memory lane.
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Target Group: Older adults, former cyclists, families, local residents, community groups
Open to Public: Yes – fully open community event
Other Information: Seating available, family friendly, suitable for non-cyclists and those with reduced mobility.”
