Experience the tracks and trails that Dublin Mountain National Cycling Centre has to offer while seeing a skyline view of Dublin Bay and City. Each year we take a cycling roadshow to the local senior school TY students, with 2 bikes from opposite ends of the spectrum, interactive quizzes and competitions, a Q&A session and the now famous CO2 inflator and saddle height demos.

Cara House will take 10 people out to Glenveagh National Park and rent bikes from Grass Roots Bikes (electric and hybrid). We will cycle up to the Castle and have some refreshments while listening to a talk on wellbeing, before returning down to the car park and get the bus back to Cara House.

Corlann (formerly Brothers of Charity Services) will take part in a bike and trike taster in Kilcornan Clarinbridge. This will be an opportunity for people supported to try different bikes and trikes and also to try a regular 2-wheeler bike if they have not had the opportunity before.

A cycle out to Great Island out the old railway greenway. Cross on the ferry before cycling around Great Island There will be a break for a picnic in Marlog before Cobh with panoramic views of Cork harbour and beginning the journey back to the city.
