Bike Week Cork City – Art Exhibition

Bike art masterpieces, a retrospective of previous year's Bike Week art exhibitions and last years International Mail Art Call - Opening reception from 6:30pm on Thursday the 8th May - with exhibition open for viewing all through Bike Week 4:30-11:30pm in The Friary No.1 Shandon St. Cork City.

Bike and Mend – Scoil Eoin Naofa

Cycling from the school down to the lake. Work shop back at the school with the Menshed showing us how to put a chain back on a bike, pump a wheel and fix a tube

Emper National School – Bike Safety Talk and Blueway Trek

Emper National School Co. Westmeath

We would hope to ask a local bike expert to come and speak to our pupils regarding bike safety. Pupils would then convene at the local Blueway Trail near Rathcaled in Emper and go on the Blueway as far as Abbeyshrule and back again. A picnic would be organised at a location in Abbeyshrule (playground) as a treat for all who participated. Parents would be welcome to join also.

Bike Week Movie Night – Cork City

A classic of Italian cinema on Tuesday 13th May from 8.30pm - for adults at the Friary Bar in celebration of Bike Week - The Bicycle Thieves (Ladri di biciclette) a stunningly visual film with sparse but powerful dialog.
