Join us 17th May from 9am in Glenties during Bike Week for free bike “M-checks” by local mechanics, covering essentials like brakes, gears, and tyre pressure. Enjoy tea, coffee, and bike chats while learning basic cycling skills from our volunteers. Afterward, take part in a relaxed 10km cycle along the scenic local cycle path.
Finn Wheelers will be hosting a 30km leisure cycle featuring a mid-way refreshment break. The goal is to encourage participation in a social group cycle for club and non-members. We will be encouraging people interested in cycling who are non members to participate in the group cycle and hope to encourage then to get involved with regular group cycles with the club. This will be an easy paced event with experienced club member leading the cycle event and providing marshalling and support. Bikes will be checked and safety will be discussed in a briefing before the cycle.
