Carlow Sports Partnership is offering free bike hire from the Mullichain Café in St. Mullins, inviting you to explore the scenic Barrow Way. Enjoy a relaxed cycle along the river, soak up the natural beauty of South Carlow, and experience the outdoors at your own pace. No booking needed!
The event will offer 30km & 40km routes with a breakfast stop near the end for participants. The goal is to encourage participation in a social group cycle for club and non-members. We will be encouraging people interested in cycling who are non members to participate in the group cycle and hope to encourage then to get involved with regular group cycles with the club. This will be an easy paced event with experienced club member leading the cycle event and providing marshalling and support. Bikes will be checked and safety will be discussed in a briefing before the cycle.

The event is designed to introduce riders to lesser-known areas of the city and its outskirts, revealing new recreational spaces along the way. This event is designed for stronger cyclists keen to explore a variety of cycle routes across Cork City.
Cycle out the Lee Valley, along the river, through the park,by the 7th century monastery, thought the woods, along the lake past Dripsey Castle, along hidden byways to a secret waterfall and maybe climb trees and swim along the way. Don't forget to bring something for the picnic.
The Cycle for Tullaghan Rowing club is suitable for all ages, Suitable for all and all levels of experience. This cycle event is a community cycle, lots of fun for the family and a fun cycling challenge. This event will take place at Geesala Community Centre F26 X4H5.

We are planning a vibrant and inclusive Community Bike Day designed to bring people of all ages together on two wheels! The event kicks off with an in-depth workshop on bike maintenance and repair, led by local cycling experts who will guide participants through essential skills such as fixing a flat, adjusting brakes, and tuning gears. After getting hands-on and confident with their bikes, everyone is invited to take part in a leisurely community ride through scenic local routes. As a special highlight, we’re excited to include the use of a specially designed accessible bike, enabling elderly community members and residents from the nearby residential home to join in the fun and reconnect with their community. This heartwarming addition ensures that the joy of cycling is shared by all, making the day not only active and educational, but also deeply meaningful.
