Transport Options

Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail operate up to 5 daily trains to Wexford from Connolly Station serving Pearse Street station, Dun Laoghaire, Wicklow, Arklow, Gorey and Enniscorthy enroute.  Additional train services will be added for the duration of the Fleadh.

Wexford Town O’Hanrahan train station

The train station is located at Redmond Square and is approximately a few minutes walk to the Event Control centre and the town centre. Use the TFI Journey Planner / TFI Live App to plan your route to the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025 events in Wexford.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place during the Fleadh which will result in several road closures and restrictions.

There are numerous car parks in place on the outskirts of Wexford Town with free shuttle buses operating to the town centre. When parking in these car parks please take note of where you have parked and the colour of your car park.

  • Red – Town Centre Roads/Streets to be closed from 10.00am to 4.00am the following day.
  • Wexford Bridge to be closed to private vehicles from 10.00am to 4.00am the following day.
  • Redmond Square – limited access for public transport & access to supermarket only.
  • Blue Routes / Soft Closure – restricted access.
  • Green Routes/Safe Routes – routes for use by emergency services.
  • Black arrows – temporary one-way system.

There are dedicated Fleadh Park & Ride Car Parks on all approaches to Wexford Town with free shuttle buses operating to the town centre. Please follow the route coloured signs on your approach to Wexford Town to access your closest car park.  When parking in these car parks please take note of where you have parked and the colour of your car park. The Park and Ride areas will be manned by volunteers and Wexford County Council staff. The car parks will be adequately lit with all essential services that are required.
