The National Transport Authority (NTA), in partnership with Invisible Disability Ireland and TFI operators, has today announced the nationwide rollout of the “Please Offer Me a Seat” badge and card campaign.
Designed to support passengers with invisible disabilities, hidden illnesses or less apparent conditions who still require priority seating. With approximately 80% of disabilities being non-visible, the initiative empowers these individuals by giving them an easy-to-recognise signal to request a seat.
The badge and card are available free of charge through TFI transport operators, whilst the campaign aims to promote awareness, understanding, and kindness among passengers, ensuring that everyone who needs a seat can travel more comfortably and with dignity.
NTA encourages passengers to support the campaign’s core message:
“If you see the badge, please offer your seat.”
This initiative highlights NTA’s ongoing commitment to making Ireland’s public transport system more accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for all.
