Doughiska CycleFest
A community celebration of everything great about cycling and bikes, taking place at Doughiska Park (Doughiska Skatepark), Doughiska Rd, Galway at 2:30pm. This family‑friendly afternoon brings children, young people, and families together for bike‑themed activities and entertainment.

Participants can enjoy a BMX and cycle skills workshop at the newly refurbished skatepark, along with a Circus Show Performance with Juggle.ie and minibike, unicycling workshops. There will be face painting and experienced bike mechanics from An Mheitheal Rothar will be on site offering free bicycle safety checks. The event will also include ‘Tour De Merlin Woods’ a guided family cycle exploring the woodland trails surrounding Merlin Woods. Helmets are mandatory for all participants taking part in the BMX workshop and the Tour De Merlin Woods guided cycle. This inclusive event welcomes anyone with a bike and helmet.
A welcoming, inclusive event for families, children, and young people of all ages. We encourage everyone to join in the fun, just bring a bike and a helmet.
Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult.
