Inclusive Cycling for Everyone

May 11

At LiKe Bikes Greenway Cycle Hire, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and freedom of cycling.

As part of Bike Week, we are proud to host Inclusive Taster Sessions at our Rathkeale Hub designed specifically to open up cycling to people of all abilities.

This is more than just a bike ride—it’s an opportunity to build confidence, create connection, and experience independence in a safe, supportive environment.

🌿 What to Expect
On the day, participants will have the chance to:

▪︎Try our specially adapted disability cycle fleet in a relaxed, welcoming setting
▪︎Receive guidance and encouragement from qualified cycle trainers
▪︎Explore cycling at their own pace—no pressure, no expectations
▪︎Enjoy the beautiful Greenway in a fully inclusive atmosphere

We also warmly welcome families, friends, and carers. Standard bikes will be available so everyone can take part together—making it a shared experience, not just an individual one.

💛 Our Purpose
Our aim is simple but powerful:
To remove barriers and make cycling accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, confidence, or experience.

For many, this may be the first time trying a disability bike—and that first experience can be life-changing.

🌟 Why It Matters
Cycling is not just about movement—it’s about:
Freedom
Inclusion
Wellbeing
Belonging

Through these taster sessions, we hope to ignite confidence, inspire participation, and show that cycling truly is for all.

📍 Join Us
Come along, try something new, and be part of a movement that is making cycling more inclusive across Ireland.
Everyone is welcome. Every ability is celebrated.

We will provide a full induction and demonstration as well as on-site technical support and all of the participants will be issued with appropriate PPE.
