The Great Clough Bike Parade
A colourful and imaginative community bike parade through Clough village involving children, families and local residents. Pupils from the local primary school will be invited to decorate bicycles and scooters as part of their Green-Schools initiative, promoting active travel and sustainability.
The parade will also feature vintage High Nelly bicycles, community cyclists and, where available, accessible bikes. The event will finish at Clough GAA grounds with refreshments and prize presentations for decorated bikes.
Target Group: Children, families, school community, residents, cyclists of all ages
Distance: Approx. 2km slow-paced parade route
Open to Public: Yes – fully open community event
Other Information: Marshalled, family friendly, suitable for all cycling abilities, helmets encouraged.”
