Thomond Thread Cycle

Get to know your cycle lanes!
As part of Bike Week Limerick, join the Thomond Thread, a guided group cycle designed to help people get to know the network on the Northside and see how cycle lanes link across the city. Did you know there are over 115 km of cycle lanes in Limerick?
This is a relaxed, inclusive group ride, led by experienced bike leaders and using cycle lanes as much as possible. The route is flat and loop based, with short loops of up to 5 km. Participants can choose how much they cycle – if you’re comfortable completing all the loops, the total distance is up to 15 km.
The ride is suitable for all ages and abilities and is about building confidence for everyday cycling.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
