Join the Bike Week Photo Competition! Celebrate Bike Week 2025 by taking part in the Bike Week Photo Competition, hosted by Ballisodare Bay Cycling Club!
A fun Bike Fest of skills and challenges for children from 5+ plus and inclusive session for children with a disability.
During Bike Week, club volunteers will visit local schools for fun, hands-on cycling sessions. Teens at The Comp in Glenties will learn basic bike maintenance, while younger children at national schools will practice cycling skills in the playground
Grassroutes Bike Hire will run eight inclusive cycling classes during Bike Week 2025 for students from Little Angels and St Bernadette’s schools. Sessions include bike fitting, safety checks, and adapted cycling skills, promoting confidence, physical activity, and independence. All equipment is provided, making cycling accessible and enjoyable for all abilities.

Our Children's Learn to Cycle session will give children in the Ardnacassa Housing estate area an opportunity to learn safer urban cycling skills.
Tir Chonaill GAP will host two Bike Week events: an introductory mountain biking session on new Coillte trails, and a safe 40km road cycle using the new N56 cycle path. Both rides offer scenic routes, promote cycling for all levels, and encourage community participation in active, enjoyable outdoor experiences on 14th May from 6pm - contact organisers for more information.
