Tir Chonaill GAP will host two Bike Week events: an introductory mountain biking session on new Coillte trails, and a safe 40km road cycle using the new N56 cycle path. Tulla National School Co. Clare are holding Bike Mechanic Workshops and a Cycle to 12 O'Clock Hills for Bike Week
This event will take place on athletics track which will afford the participants an opportunity to try different bikes and trikes in a safe environment. Participants get to try many different types of bikes including electric bikes, and trikes, recumbent E-Trikes and Side by Side bikes as well as a range of adapted bikes.

Paralympian and pro cyclist Mitchell McLaughlin will visit the school to share his experiences from the 2024 Paris Paralympics and racing across Europe. He’ll speak to class groups, show his bikes and jerseys, and answer students’ questions in an inspiring, interactive afternoon about sport and motivation.
Our Learn to Cycle tasters at Wicklow Bike Festival are an exciting and engaging program designed to teach children the fundamentals of cycling in a safe and supportive environment. Aimed at children aged 5-12 years old, our class is perfect for beginners who are eager to hop on a bike and start pedaling. Booking required!
