The Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon September 2025 will take place on Sunday, September 21st at 9 am in the Phoenix Park.

Location: Castleknock Road closure from Phoenix Park to College Road.

Route 37
From City Centre:
Normal route to Navan Road then divert straight to continue on Navan Road dual carriage way, left into Blanchardstown village, left at the Bell pub onto Castleknock Road, right for Laurel lodge to normal route.
To City Centre:
Normal route to Laurel Lodge, at T junction divert left towards the Bell Pub, turn right onto the Navan Rd and continue straight on Navan Road to Ashtown Roundabout to normal route.
Route 38
From City Centre:
Normal route to Navan Rd, continue straight ahead for M50 roundabout to Blanchardstown village to normal route.
To City Centre:
Normal route to Blanchardstown Village, continue straight ahead onto Navan Road to normal route.
Parkgate St close to the Frank Sherwin bridge is a short walk from Heuston Luas stop, on the Red Line.
Check below for Shuttle bus – Parkgate St close to the Frank Sherwin bridge from 7 am.
There will be shuttle buses supplied on race day morning. The bus will be parked on Parkgate St close to the Frank Sherwin bridge from 7 am. The last bus will leave there at 8:35 am. It will also be available after each race, at the Phoenix Monument, to take runners back to Parkgate St., with the last bus leaving at 1.45 pm.
Heuston train station is well serviced to and from the country with nationwide and commuter trains, with Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail.
Heuston train station is a short walk across Frank Sherwin bridge to Parkgate St bus stop, from where there is a Shuttle service from 7am – see above.
Connolly Train station has a direct Red Line Luas connection from Connolly to Heuston stop..
There will be NO parking in Phoenix Park on race day. A bike park will be provided close to the start area, so bring your bike.
