Following the withdrawal of Route 4 by Expressway, the National Transport Authority (NTA) will introduce TFI Route 365, serving communities between Waterford and Carlow on Sunday, 24 May 2026. Operated by Bus Éireann initially, the new service will provide four daily return journeys, ensuring continued access for passengers to important transport links.
TFI Route 365 will serve all towns and villages along the corridor currently served by Route 4. In addition, there will be new stops in
- Thomastown
- Muine Bheag and
- Dungarvan village, providing greater connectivity at local level.
Passengers travelling onwards to Dublin will be able to connect with existing TFI bus and train services in Carlow.
