Description

Due to pavement resurfacing works, routes 563, 572, 977, 981 and 982 will not be able to serve the stops at Sligo Bus Station or Strandhill Road after 7pm each evening, between Monday 11th August and Friday 12th September.

For services after 7pm, please use stop 12901 on Markievicz Road instead, and allow yourself sufficient time to walk to/from there.

Departures that normally use Seatown Road will now divert via Swords Main Street, Malahide Road to Swords bypass and back on to normal route.

Bus stops 7114 Seatown Road, Seatown Villas and 7116 Swords Park, Swords Bypass will not be in use during this time. 

Bus stops 3689 Fingal, Swords, 3690 Swords Main Street, Swords Village and 6117 Swords Pavilions Shopping Centre, Malahide Road will now be served by Route 41x.

Description

Luas Red Line services between Connolly and The Point Stop will remain closed for several weeks at a minimum following damage caused by the recent fire in the Docklands area of Dublin city. 

The Luas team is examining options for a dedicated replacement bus service to cover the affected section while works and assessments continue.

We wish to advise customers that due to roadworks on Alexandra Road, Route 53 will be diverted from 09.00hrs on Saturday 09 July 2025 for approximately 1 year.
As a result, the following diversion will be in place. 

Route 53

- Towards Dublin Ferryport 
Normal route to East Wall Road, divert via Bond Road, Promenade Road, Bond Drive, Tolka Quay Road and back on to normal route.
Stops 2264 Alexandra Road, Tolka Quay and 2265 Bond Drive, Tolka Quay will not be in use during this time. Please proceed to stops 2262 Merchants Road, East Wall or 7601 Bond Drive, Tolka Quay for your nearest stop location.
