Bus

  • Dublin Bus NiteLink:
    • A full  Nitelink service will operate on Friday 31 July and Saturday 01 August 2026.
    • There will be no Nitelink service on Sunday 02 August 2026.
  •   24-hour services will continue in operation seven days a week.
  • Due to the Bray Air Display Saturday 1st of August 2026  there will be diversions in place on Routes L12 and L14  (details below)
  • Bus Éireann will operate a Sunday Schedule on public holiday Monday 3 August.
    • 2 August, Cork – There may be disruptions and delays in Cork city centre, as Cork LGPT+ Pride parade will be held.
  • Go-Ahead Ireland: Note – there have been timetable changes which started this week from 26 July – on routes:
    • 33A, 102, 104, 220/A, 238, 270, L51, L52
      • BusConnects Dublin ballymun finglas 1600x600 rs

Tram – Luas

  • Luas Red Line Temporary Partial Closure Aug 1, 2, 3: Red Cow to Tallaght and Saggart due to Engineering Works
  • On these dates, trams will run between The Point / Connolly and Red Cow only. 
  • Luas Green Line services are not affected and will run as normal. 

Replacement Bus Stop Locations 

A replacement bus service will serve the closed Luas stops between Red Cow and Tallaght / Saggart with some restrictions.  

Buses will run approx. every 15 minutes on these days. A valid Luas ticket is required to use the replacement bus service. Please allow extra time for travel.

Bank Holiday Monday 3 August 

Luas Red Line and Luas Green Line services are operating Sunday Operating Hours and Frequency on Bank Holiday Monday 3 August.

Normal Luas Red Line service will resume on Tuesday 4 August. 

  • Luas will run normal Operating Hours and Frequency on Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May.

    We wish to advise customers that due the Bray Air Display, the following diversions will be in place on Routes L12 and L14 from 10.00hrs until 20.00hrs on Saturday 1 August 2026.

    • Route L12
      Towards Ballywaltrim
      Depart temporary stop on Adelaide Road and continue on normal route.
      Towards Bray Dart Station
      Normal route to Florence Road and terminate at temporary stop on Adelaide Road.
    • Stop 4169 Bray Station, Bray will not be in use during this time.
      • Please proceed to stop 4156 Seymour Road, Bray for your nearest stop location.
    • Route L14
      Towards Cherrywood
      Normal Route to Vevay Road, divert via Vevay Road, Main Street, Quinsborough Road, Florence Road and back to normal route.
    • Stops 8264 Meath Road, Bray, 8265 Victoria Avenue, Bray and 4168 Bray Station, Bray will not be in use during this time.
      • Please proceed to stops 4148 O’Bryne Road, Bray or 4170 Methodist Church, Bray for your nearest stop location.
    • Towards Southern Cross Road
      • Normal Route to Quinsborough Road, divert via Florence Road, Main Street, Vevay Road and back to normal route.
      • Stops 4159 Strand Road, Bray, 8267 Bray Promenade, Bray and 4163 Putland Road, Bray will not be in use during this time.
        • Please proceed to stops 4156 Seymour Road, Bray or 8268 Presentation College, Bray for your nearest stop locations.

      Assemble on Grand Parade, Cork City
    • The parade route
      • begins at The Grand Parade
      • continues through to Patrick Street
      • turns right onto Merchant’s Quay
      • pass by the front of Parnell place Bus Station
      • continue onto Anderson’s Quay
      • turn right, and cross over Eamon de Valera bridge
      • turn left, onto Albert Quay
      • pass the junction for Victoria Road
      • continue onto Kennedy Quay

Tram – Luas

  • Luas Red Line Temporary Partial Closure Aug 1, 2, 3: Red Cow to Tallaght and Saggart due to Engineering Works
  • Essential engineering works will take place on the Luas Red Line tracks over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The works will take place on Saturday 1, Sunday 2 and Bank Holiday Monday 3 August.
  • To facilitate these works, there will be no Luas service between Red Cow and Tallaght / Saggart from last tram on Friday 31 July until first tram Tuesday 4 August. 
  • These essential rail works involve replacing track at Belgard Stop and the Luas crossing over Belgard Road. 
  • On these dates, trams will run between The Point / Connolly and Red Cow only.

Ballybrophy:

Saturday 1st August

Due to Engineering Works between Limerick Junction and Charleville on Saturday 1st August, the following service alterations and amendments will take place:

  • 17:10 Limerick to Ballybrophy is advanced to 16.15
  • 09:00 Ballybrophy to Limerick is deferred to 10.00

Cork, Limerick and Tralee Services

Saturday 1st August

Due to Engineering Works between Limerick Junction and Charleville on Saturday 1st August, the following service alterations and amendments will take place:

  • Cork services will operate every two hours in each direction with altered timings
  • Tralee services will operate every two hours, connecting to and from Cork services at Mallow
  • 17:05 Dublin Heuston to Tralee is cancelled.
    • Passengers should board the 17:05 Dublin Heuston to Cork service and change at Mallow for a connecting service. Please note that there will be a delay of 25 – 30 mins from Mallow to Tralee
  • Limerick services will operate as scheduled with altered timings

Western Rail Corridor (Limerick to Galway)

Saturday 1st August

Due to Engineering Works between Limerick Junction and Charleville on Saturday 1st August, the following service alterations and amendments will take place:

  • 18:05 Limerick to Galway is deferred to 18:34

Waterford to Limerick

Saturday 1st August

Due to Engineering Works between Limerick Junction and Charleville on Saturday 1st August, the following service alterations and amendments will take place:

  • 07:20 Waterford to Limerick Junction is advanced to 06:35
  • 16:25 Waterford to Limerick Junction is deferred to 16:55
  • 09:45 Limerick Junction to Waterford is deferred to 10:10
  • 18:40 Limerick Junction to Waterford is deferred to 19:00
