June Bank Holiday Public Transport Arrangements

We wish to advise customers that a Sunday timetable will operate on Monday 01 June 2026.

A full Nitelink service will operate on Friday 29 May and Saturday 30 May 2026.

There will be no Nitelink service on Sunday 31 May 2026.

24-hour services
Dublin Bus has 24-hour services which are in operation seven days a week.

Dublin Mini Marathon – 31 May – City centre and suburban services will be restricted.

We wish to advise customers that on Bank Holiday Monday, 1 June 2026 all Bus Éireann services will operate to a Sunday schedule.

Cork city Marathon – 31 May – City and suburban services will be restricted.

A Sunday timetable will operate on Monday 01 June 2026.

Dublin Mini Marathon – 31 May – City centre services will be restricted.

A Sunday timetable will operate on Monday 01 June 2026.

On Bank Holiday Monday 1 June 2026, Luas will run Sunday Operating Hours and Frequency
with services beginning at 7.00 am on the Green and Red Lines.
Luas will run normal Operating Hours and Frequency on Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May.

Numerous events are taking place in Dublin over the weekend, such as Bord Bia Bloom Festival, Forbidden Fruit Festival, and VHI Mini Marathon, and other music and sport events in different venues in the city. We recommend you planning your journey in advance and taking plenty of time for arriving to your event.
Bord Bia Bloom Festival – by Luas: The closest Luas Stop is Heuston (Red Line). If you use the Green Line, Broombridge Luas Stop is a 30-minute walk to Bloom.
- A free shuttle bus service operates from Parkgate Street to Bord Bia Bloom Festival and back from 7am to 7pm daily.
Forbidden Fruit Festival: Heuston and Suir Road Luas Stops are the closest Luas Stops.
Park & Ride with Luas:
- On the Luas Red Line there are Park & Ride facilities at Cheeverstown, Red Cow, and Tallaght.
- On the Luas Green Line there are Park & Ride facilities at Balally, Stillorgan, Sandyford and Carrickmines.
