Bus replacement service

For the duration of the works there will be a replacement bus service between Tallaght / Saggart and Heuston Luas Stop, and a Luas service from Heuston to The Point on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026

These works are essential to the operation of the Luas system and ensure we deliver a safe, reliable tram service to Luas customers. The workers, vehicles and machinery will generate noise at times.

Replacement Bus Stop Locations

A replacement bus service will serve the affected Luas stops between Heuston and Tallaght / Saggart in both directions.

Buses will run approximately every 15 minutes on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026. A valid Luas ticket, TFI Leap Card, or Public Services Card with Free Travel is required to use the replacement bus service.
